NAMI Family & Friends is a 4-hour seminar that informs and supports people who have loved ones with a mental health condition. Participants will learn about diagnoses, treatment, recovery, communication strategies, crisis preparation and NAMI resources. Seminar leaders have personal experience with mental health conditions in their families.
NAMI New Mexico Conducted this free 4-hour seminar at the Nor Lea Hospital in Lovington, NM on April 27th 2018. The seminar was open to family care gives, peers, professionals or anyone else interested in understanding and improving the lives of individuals living with mental health issues. Cy Stanton and Roger DiAngelis drove out from Albuquerque to conduct the seminar and we had 14 family members in attendance.
