Peer-to-Peer

Classes starting Saturday October 17th.  This 8-session course will be by ZOOM – Online Learning! 

Registration for NAMI’s FREE Peer to Peer Education Course is now open.    Slots are filled on a first-come first-served basis.

Peer-to-Peer is a free 8-session recovery education course open to anyone 18 or older experiencing a mental health challenge, The course is designed to encourage growth, healing and recovery among participants. NAMI Albuquerque is pleased to offer this course free of charge.  We will conduct one class on Saturdays (1PM – 3PM), then a second class on Sundays from 1PM-3PM for four weeks (8 classes total).  Click “MORE” for info on how to register.

NAMI Peer-to-Peer is taught by trained leaders with a lived experience. This program includes activities, discussions and informative videos. However, as with all NAMI programs, it does not include recommendations for specific treatment approaches.

This class is made possible through the Training & Education grant, funded by the Bernallilo County Behavioral Health Initiative. Through this grant, NAMI New Mexico, in conjunction with NAMI Albuquerque, aims to increase behavioral health education and support programs to individuals living with a  mental health condition and their families within Bernallilo County
